Common questions
Clear answers to the questions candidates ask most.
01 -- WHY IT EXISTS
The job search system is broken
Most candidates are doing the work with no visibility: you apply, you wait, and you rarely know what to change.
Applicant Network is designed as a guided process you can actually track. You always have a clear next step, and you can choose support through the recruiter marketplace when you want it.
Candidates never pay for platform access or recruiter support.
02 -- STEP 1
Create your profile and set your search
Start by creating your account and setting a few basics so your experience stays focused on what you want.
You will set preferences like role type, location, remote and relocation, and compensation targets. These settings shape what you see and how your dashboard is organized.
You do not need to upload your resume to sign up. Your resume matters most at the moment you apply, because fit depends on the specific job.
03 -- STEP 2
Browse roles and apply with a guided flow
When you apply to a role, you go through a guided flow so you submit a complete, consistent application.
During the application you upload or select the resume you want used for that specific role. This is the version the system uses for evaluation and feedback.
You may also add an optional note, answer screening questions (if required), then review and submit.
04 -- THE RECRUITER MARKETPLACE
Get support without paying, and without losing control
The marketplace is for candidates who want an advocate. You can apply on your own, or you can choose a recruiter to represent you when you want support.
Representation is useful when you want help targeting roles, positioning your story, coordinating interviews, and keeping momentum when the process slows down.
Choose a recruiter, do not wait for one
Browse recruiter profiles and connect when you want representation.
Communication can run through your recruiter
If represented, your recruiter can coordinate and communicate with the company so you are not chasing updates.
Interview prep and positioning support
A recruiter can help you present your experience clearly and prepare for interviews in a role-specific way.
Switch if it is not a fit
If you want to change recruiters later, you can. You are not locked in.
Always free for candidates
Candidates never pay for platform access or recruiter representation.
05 -- STEP 3
Decide how communication works for each role
Applicant Network supports two ways to run communication, and you can choose what you prefer.
If you apply directly, you communicate with the company yourself.
If you are represented, your recruiter can handle coordination and communication with the company and keep you updated throughout the process.
06 -- AI FEEDBACK
Use AI to qualify faster and fix what is missing
After you apply, AI feedback can help you understand fit in a practical way. The goal is not to judge you. The goal is to help you improve quickly.
Use feedback to refine your resume for the role, strengthen weak areas, or focus your search on better-fit opportunities next.
Match signals
See what appears to align between your resume and the job requirements.
Gaps and missing requirements
Spot what looks missing or unsupported so you know what to fix.
Resume and application improvements
Get clear, role-specific adjustments you can make before your next application.
Better targeting
Use what you learn to apply to roles that are a stronger match instead of guessing.
07 -- STEP 4
Track momentum in your dashboard
Your dashboard is your home base. It keeps your job search organized in one place so you do not have to manage everything in email threads.
You can track what you applied to, what stage each role is in, and what changed most recently.
If you are working with a recruiter, the dashboard also helps keep coordination clear and reduces back-and-forth.
No ghosting. No guessing.
A job search that stays clear
