Who Are We? We’re building a constellation of spacecraft designed to reflect sunlight back to Earth after dark—extending solar power beyond sunset. Backed by leading investors and founded by a former SpaceX engineer, we’re developing novel space hardware with our first launch targeted for 2026.

This is ambitious, hands-on hardware work. We prototype fast, iterate aggressively, and expect every team member to own their craft.

What Will You Do? Turn reflector designs into testable hardware using hand and machine tools.

Construct large reflectors made from thin-film plastics with precision and care.

Design and build jigs and custom tooling to improve quality, repeatability, and efficiency.

Work closely with engineering teams to identify design issues and propose improvements.

Design and fabricate (or source) infrastructure needed to safely build and handle very large reflectors.

Operate tools such as laser cutters, vinyl cutters, and other fabrication equipment.

Rapidly prototype and iterate under tight timelines.

What Will You Need? Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality craftsmanship.

Experience working hands-on with fabrics, thin films, sheet materials, or precision assemblies.

Comfort using hand tools and fabrication equipment independently.

Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced, scrappy R&D environment.

Demonstrated project ownership—not just supporting testing or process work.

Something that truly stands out—an unusual accomplishment, bold project, or exceptional work that shows unusual drive or craftsmanship.

Strongly Preferred Experience building detailed physical models or prototypes on tight timelines.

Basic CAD experience and ability to design custom jigs or tooling.

Clean room experience.

Background in tailoring, architecture, sculpture, fabrication, aerospace hardware, or similar hands-on disciplines.
