About This Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to support our finance team with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will assist with bookkeeping, data entry, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Prepare and issue invoices to customers Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies Maintain and update financial records in accounting software Assist with expense reporting Prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable/receivable reports Support month-end and year-end closing processes Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding payments Assist in preparing financial statements and reports Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) Proven experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software – QuickBooks Online preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Good written and verbal communication skills

Requirements
